EDITOR: MARIE MARQUEZ

Marie-Marquez-ViennaBorn and raised in France, it was literally love at first sight that made Marie moved to Austria. Editorial assistant during the day, she spends most of her free time exploring her beloved Vienna when she is not traveling around Austria or Europe. She shares all her Austrian discoveries and best tips on her blog, along with her enthusiasm for art nouveau architecture.

Where do you live? I moved to Vienna, Austria, almost two years ago.

Where do you come from? It’s always a hard question for me because I grew up in different cities. But to keep it short: I am French, I was born in Saint-Étienne, raised in Bretagne and then moved to Limoges, French capital of porcelain. Three very different regions but all very dear to my heart.

Where do you (day)dream to go next? The Balkan Peninsula.

What do you like most about traveling? Discovering first hand the incredible history of cities, buildings and places I go to. It never ceazes to amaze me!

A ritual or a thing that you cannot miss when you travel? You can be sure that at least one time during my trip I will find myself in a café, testing the local pastries. Yummy!
